Frequently asked questions before purchase
Common questions before purchase — for decision-makers, IT and procurement, before a demo or the configurator.
What does eSpace actually cost?
The listed prices are net hardware list prices. Technical support, maintenance, sets, eStudio and training are added depending on the setup — the configurator calculates this transparently.
Do we need a broadcast engineering team?
No. eSpace is built for teams that want to go into production without in-house engineering — with presets, Stream Deck, Launch and Academy.
What does “1 engine = 1 camera” mean?
Every productive camera chain needs an engine. Two cameras in parallel or a redundancy concept (two engines / parallel pipelines) typically lead to ProDual or multiple systems — without a blanket full-redundancy guarantee.
When Mini Kit, when Pro?
Mini Kit = complete solution including camera for one-camera HD. If you need more I/O, positional tracking, editor or 4K, the configurator questions lead into the Pro family.
Can we upgrade later?
Yes. The product line is deliberately stepped: from Mini/ProCore via ProCore Plus (4K-capable) and ProDual to ProXtreme (4K high-end). Services and training remain compatible.
How do universities and corporate studios get started?
Via documented system boundaries, demo and configurator PDF as a starting point for an internal business case or procurement — plus EngineRaum as the contact for operations.
